Cat is a Melbourne-based data scientist and consultant with skills in econometrics, big data analysis and economics.
Prior to joining AlphaBeta, Cat worked as an Adviser at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, most recently in the Behavioural Economics Team of the Australian Government (BETA). She also worked on randomised controlled trials in the US legal system as a Research Associate at Harvard Law School’s Access to Justice Lab.
Cat holds a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, specialising in public policy applications of machine learning and data science. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Economic Policy from the ANU.
